Landscape Architecture
|
Established by a landscape architect, Allgood Outdoors has always been especially dedicated to providing the highest caliber of landscape design. When the firm was started in 1981, the general trend in the landscape architecture profession was to separate firms that offered landscape architecture services from organizations that offered landscape construction and grounds management services. Today the American Society of Landscape Architects and other professional design associations recognize the value of firms that offer multiple services. As this awareness and appreciation has grown, so has the number of satisfied clients that rely on the landscape architecture services provided by Allgood Outdoors. Clients that utilize the design services of Allgood Outdoors include:
Allgood Outdoors can help clients with the following categories:
Because Allgood Outdoors is a design/build firm, our designers are part of the construction team. While our designers are competent with the pencil as well as the computer, our designers also use paint, levels, and other site tools to constantly refine a design. At Allgood Outdoors we know it is never too early to bring the landscape architect on board to a project. Whether your landscape design needs are for a single home or a complete development you will find the landscape architectural services provided by Allgood Outdoors are creative, appropriate, and based on solid technical know how. Please call so we can discuss your upcoming landscape design project. The video below shows some of the landscape design landscape design drawings and renderings produced by Allgood Outddoors. Below is a video we posted for the convenience of a client. The framing of a proposed gazebo is illustrated in 3d. This model has been placed on top of the Autocad preliminary drawing produced by Allgood Outdoors. By overlaying the 3d model of the gazebo framing structure over the proposed master plan and then creating this animation, we can relatively quickly allow the client to better understand the design concepts. And just for reference: the colors are a little wild on the plan because bright colors help our designers work more clearly and organized on the computer.
Below is an animation we produced for a client to study the potential for adding an open air pavilion with a kitchen and a firepit.
This is a conceptual plan for an outdoor kitchen area. In this animation we wanted the client to understand the spatial relationship of the structure to existing grade and the existing home. Elements and details such as paving selection, wall caps, etc. will be refined after this conceptual phase.
This animation views a simple digital model of a home in the design stage. Prior to starting the actual construction of the home, the owners can use this model in order to better visualize the general size and spaces of the site. This model will be further used as a design tool as hardscape and landscape planting decisions are discussed.
Below is list of all of our videos that we place on YouTube. Some of the presentations are recorded for our clients convenience and are tools to help clients understand concepts. They are not refined marketing videos and not exactly "Star Wars" or "Toy Story." Hoever, they are much better than a "sketch on a napkin." Some of the videos are posted elsewhere on this site as well. The thought is that it might be easier for the clients to find their projects on this page rather than sort through YouTube.
